This long-established, world-wide manufacturer of industry-specific engineered materials selected SOHO to create its new website for the distribution of its products online.  Their new site included an e-commerce system, document management, and all the ingredients to build its future Internet presence.

This site includes the Joomla CMS, a DOCman component, and the VirtueMart e-commerce system as well as other selected components.

Description

Teddy Bear Stuffers provides wholesalers everything necessary to build a bear stuffing business.  They sell stuffing machines, unstuffed teddy bears, and other plush animal skins, clothes, accessories and more. When they came to SOHO, they were in need of a website design and functionality “upgrade.”  They had an existing logo that they wished to use as a part of the overall “theme” of the site – colors, feel, tone, impression, etc., but there were other factors to consider: clear navigation, featured product categories, ease of process, specials, etc.  As we began development, we also took into consideration how the various design elements could be maximized and enhanced on different browsers, different PCs, different bandwidths, search engines, and so on.

This wholesale shopping cart employs the award-winning X-cart shopping cart system, optimized for working with a 3rd-part fullfilment operation.

The owners of PooperTroopers selected SOHO Prospecting to develop a website for its new Atlanta-based business.  Pooper Troopers needed a custom design with a subscription-based e-commerce system that its customers could use to order its premium services.

Technology

www.poopertroopers.com was based on the world-renowned Joomla! Content Management System.  SOHO installed the Community Builder family of components to achieve a truly interactive e-commerce environment.

My Décor Elements is an online boutique offering fresh, unique, and high quality home products to visitors worldwide.  With a wide range and ever expanding variety of products, My Décor Elements had unique data requirements for their website.  Having a content management system was a critical requirement, allowing them to effectively and efficiently manage the website’s content and functionality.  The shopping cart solution is search engine friendly, easy to manage, and provides a high level experience for the customer.  In addition, a top priority for My Décor Elements was an attractive product gallery and visitor experience. They wanted a website that would be well organized, easy to navigate, and easy to use.

Technology

The new MyDecorElements website employs a Joomla! CMS foundation and the VirtueMart shopping solution.  Various plugins were also employed to create a feature-rich site with the functionality needed to impress shoppers.

Description

Folch is a global leader in the pin manufacturing industry. The company operates three divisions that serve different trades including the clothing industry, haberdashery, custom industrial, lacers, and art crafts and hobbies.  Understanding that each of these markets has unique needs, Folch wanted a website that would specifically speak to the various customer groups. To facilitate navigation of the extensive amount of information for each the customer groups, the website was divided into three categories.

Additional Folch objectives for the website design included:  increasing number of visitors, better showcasing of products, enhanced focus in marketing strategy, and improved search engine visibility.  The shopping cart function was also upgraded for increased security and ease of use for the site visitor.

The new Folch website was built on a Joomla!TM CMS platform and utilized several add-on components, including VirtueMart, a component that serves as a shopping application for providing online client access to purchase their products.  The website also employed Joomfish to enable alternative languages for the site.

Description

The Green World Rewards website allows Green World Rewards to automatically publish links from the major affiliate networks (Google Affiliate Network, LinkShare, and Commission Junction) so that its users can  get discounted prices from the major online retailers.  Users will soon be able to get an additional savings through a cash-back feature that rewards the user for each purchase.

At the same time, Green World Rewards and its users contributes to the environment by using a portion of its proceeds to purchase and retire carbon offsets - What a great idea!

The Green World Rewards website was developed using a basic Joomla! framework and a custom component to establish the shopping functionality.

Description

Introduced into the market in early 2009, Whoop Ash is an exciting new brand of skin moisturizer -- and it is making a more than exciting entrance into the market!  The website, like the brand and like the product, is refreshing and invigorating – and that was the intent.  SOHO produced an edgy design for the identified urban lifestyle client. It’s innovative, modern, a bit unconventional, urban, and fun.  We wanted it edgy, but at the same time we are firm believers that design should enhance, rather than get in the way of the marketing message.  Additional site requirements included: professional image that would display correctly on all browsers, easy to navigate, fast to download, effective product showcase, e-mail announcement signups, easy to use shopping cart, and a search engine friendly design. Additionally, they wanted a statistics package that would provide client-critical business intelligence on their customers’ browsing behaviors.

Description

Richard Moss is internationally respected as a visionary thinker, teacher and author of six books on transformation, self-healing, and the art of conscious living.  Dr. Moss came to SOHO in need of a website that would allow him to do a few things – to help develop an on-line presence, to provide a place to sell his books and tapes, to post upcoming seminars, workshops, retreats, and announcements and to display samples of his work in audio, video, and text.

Prior to the development of this website, Dr. Moss’s products were primarily distributed through amazon.com and other publisher sites.  He wanted to create greater visibility and access to his products.  Another key element of the development was his desire to drive targeted traffic to his “storefront.”  SOHO helped take his web presence to an entirely new level with Search Engine Optimization. Our Google-certified experts were able to help steer qualified leads from search engines directly to his site.
