NAFTA allows San Antonio to work closely with its historical Mexican links and serve as an international financial center. This was proven when San Antonio was chosen as the home of the North American Development Bank.

As stated before the convention hosting and tourism industries are a large part of San Antonio's economy. This is an entertainment town with a lively night life in the downtown area and the beautiful San Antonio Riverwalk. Another source of pride and entertainment comes from the NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs. Being one of the most successful NBA franchises in recent history, the Spurs enjoy a loyal fan base and some of the best talent in the NBA.
