Introduction:
Located in Santa Paula, CA, the Blanchard Community Library website needed a complete redesign and wanted to incorporate an events calendar for their patrons. The site was redesigned in 2021 to reflect the library’s new branding with an emphasis on incorporating local community images and a new logo which reflects the library’s mid-century architecture. An events calendar was designed with the flexibility to incorporate multiple search features to easily identify events of specific interests.
The Process:
SOHO Prospecting worked closely with the key stakeholders in this project. Color palettes, page designs, content and images were presented and agreed upon. The desired functionality of the events calendar was specified and SOHO incorporated the best calendar template to meet the needs of the Blanchard Community Library patrons. The updated site was presented to the client and it became apparent that an updated logo was needed. Our graphic designer worked with the client and Board of Directors to create a new logo which met everyone’s expectations.
Results & Conclusion:
Blanchard Community launched their newly designed website with an updated Events Calendar in 2020. They continue to update the site content independently using custom styled Joomla! templates created by SOHO.
