Because all Joomla! extensions are not created equal, some take very little time and expertise to install and configure, while others are quite difficult and time-consuming.  To account for this and provide a simple way of calculating expected development costs, SOHO has created the following categorization and pricing schema.

A-Level Extensions - Integration: $1,000 |  Annual Maintenance: $250

These are extensions that require considerable installation and configuration time.  Examples of this extension level would be Virtuemart, Community Builder, CBSubs, JomSocial, Joomfish, K2, and SobiPro. 

B-Level Extensions - Integration: $500 | Annual Maintenance: $100

These are extensions that require moderate installation and configuration time.  Examples of this extension level would be AcyMailing, EventBooking, JEvents, Kunena forum, PhocaGallery, Portfolio, and ProjectFork.

C-Level Extensions - $100 | Annual Maintenance: $50

These are extensions that require minor installation and configuration time.  Examples of this extension level would be various slideshow systems, plugins for A and C-level components, etc.

Because there are nearly 10,000 extensions available for Joomla, we cannot even start to list them all, many of these Joomla extensions will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
